I think it took a turn for western NY,because we were only able to get four days of fishing out of ten on our ten day trip to Western Lake Ontario.
As usual Noaa was wrong on the wind and wave reports.Called for two to four footers but were easily four to six.
I can't remember if it was Monday or Tuesday, but for the first time ever,I wasn't very comfortable in the 23 Tsunami.
I called it a day and started the trip back, only to take a wave over the transom in a following sea (and it's an I/O with a high transom).
The ten mile ride back was not much fun.I think I need more lessons in boat handling in those conditions.
If only they weren't so damn close together.
