'83s were built with a continuing legacy in mind by Carribean sailing yachts I think. Bullet proof. CSY were glass happy tankbuilders.
Like Terry said, get the best condition for your money and enjoy. And congratulations on knowing you'd rather enjoy boating rather than spend a summer or two restoring...

I looked for a couple of years. Everything old was either redone and beaucoup d`argent
or needed everything. My 89 has been pretty good. Had to recore the coffin fishbox and livewell , but the deck cap and transom are wood not mulch. Have her apart again doing a new tank. She was made in Sarasota by the folks that worked for SC industries before BPS moved to Carolina. |
