Default Looking for a Bracket for 23 CC??

Well...here we go.....I just purchased a 1975 23sf and looking for a bracket for the project. I want to put twins on it, maybe a single but in either case, I'm looking for a twin bracket based on the research I have done here. Anyone have one?

Stoner Boatworks in Miami makes a fiberglass bracket. Closest thing to a Hermco you are going to find, other than personally built. $3500 and two week turn around. Last I heard. I recommend a single over twins. I know of one 23 with twin G2's and he had to put a bunch of weight in the anchor locker and stern lifting props to stop porpoising. Good luck, I'm still plugging away at mine.

Thank you, I exchanged emails with Stoner and he is $3500 (thanks KNZ911), he mentioned his brackets are for 13 degree transoms. I have read different things on here but have not measured mine yet. The pictures in the link DonV sent looks like it fits nicely and looks like a quality built bracket.

I am sure I will be back for plenty of help and feedback so I appreciate you taking the time to reply.

The 23'er transom is 13 degrees. With the price of aluminum I don't think the Stoner bracket is out of line. I've seen them close up and they are nice, Josh does good work. My brother had an aluminum one made custom for his 23'er and it was right at $2500 (not positive, I'll check) before the price of aluminum went crazy. Good luck!!

If you do choose aluminum (Armstrong), I would have it custom made with a double tub and as much floatation as possible. Mike at Wildfire marine in Stuart, Fl has it down to a science. His build on Project Dreamboat has a custom to order bracket and is floating the 23 with twin Zuke's nicely. Sofar, no porpoising and just a hair of tab. Should air soon, as it is getting final touches at Birdsall either this week or next. Last we chatted about it, cost was about the same as Stoner.

Lawrence at Armstrong has done a ton of these specifically for SeaCrafts. Tub is huge. Mine is setup for twins and was just hung. $5k and about 6 months to get. Also works well for the trim tabs on the outside chine. Keep everyone posted once the motors are hung.

Assuming I could even find one, any idea how much a used Hermco twin would sell for?

I seen one sell one time for $1500 that was on Facebook market place but most go for $3500 or more used. That is if you can even find one.
