I would like to get no less than $4000 if I sold it and it would have to be sold in March before we left to go north.

Not to sound harsh, but that boat isnt worth more than $1000, its completely original, so it probably needs a deck and transom, the power is suspect at best, and there is no trailer. So a potential buyer would have to borrow or purchase a trailer just to get a seatrial. You can put it for sale for however much you like, but those are the facts. The buyer is looking only for the hull on your boat

I do not know where you got your "facts", since you have not seen the boat. This boat has been in dry storage since 1996 and was brought down to Florida in 1984 from the northeast. The engine was pickled in 1996 and not used since. I am a rather large individual and did not feel one soft spot in the whole deck! The transom appears sound, but I am not a Seacraft Expert. The price range I came up with was based on what Fr. Frank mentioned in his post to me. It seems like a lot of boat for your price of $1000!

After seeing the picture, I would say in todays market without a trailer assuming the motor and transom are fine for their age:
Low$2000 and high $4000. The boat looks to be in good shape for being close to original.

I would agree with that $2K to $4K. Heck I can't remember seeing a 20 CC for $1000 ever, trailer or not, unless the thing was a basketcase.

Sorry guys didnt mean to ruffle any feathers, just giving my opinion. For what its worth the last two 20 seacrafts I sold one with a working evinrude motor (1985 150 hp) and trailer I sold for less than 3k and my inboard with trailer and no motor sold for less than 2k. My point is that the only real thing of value, imho is the hull. That being said I apologize if I sounded like a d@#khead. I hope you get whatever amount you want for it. That would only make all the others worth that much more

Being that the market is EXTREMELY soft a boat is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. That being said it is tuff to get someone to bring a trailer to pick the boat up. I dont think $2000 is that far off. I just past on a 23' for $3500.
