i must agree with Fr Frank about the sks. i have two, one has never been cleaned since i've owned it and has seen well over a thousand rounds of cheap ammo. rarely will it hang a cartridge or jam. for a cheap rifle you can't beat the sks on dependability, inexpensive to fire and versatile(more than one white tail has felt it's bite)

that being said...i still pull out the .308 hk for a little more punch
