"Kinda reminds me of a big version of the 25 seafari with fountain's notched rear design."

Looks a whole lot like mine.

The only downer I see is the steps would make mounting transducers for reading at speed almost impossible. Would be interesting to see what her #s were with 400 gals of fuel, 30 steel tanks, gear and 2k lbs of ice.

Nope I'm Steve Matthews the boats designer, Chris Walker is in Wanchese and used to work for Bayliss. Incredibly skilled carpenter...

The transducer reads fine... It's mounted fwd of the transverse steps. She was full of fuel during the first run, close to 400 gallons but really not much else.

Was told that those engines don't start creating their power until 6400 with the rev limiter at 7200. Completely wrong props on her now, 5 blade 30's. Should have another set to run this week. The boat is far from finished and it will have about 600lbs more weight fwd so the bow will come down about 5 1/2" and stern lift about 3". We are expecting low 90's once dialed in. She turns very well at high speed by tracking on the aft longitudinal steps.
Thanks for the insight, I imagine it dose perform well if you had you hand in it.

Steve
I'm also in Stuart . Since I'm now SeaCraftless, I would give up some cold beer for a ride in that beauty or at least to see it in person.
