Since you are in Stuart, you really should check into Signature finish, used to be owned by Tom Fabula, he has since passed, but they are still selling the same paint. I found it real easy to use, roll and tip.
Actually I'm in Miami so kind of far for 2 quarts of paint but thanks

Sorry Jorge, that was targeted at "thepistonhead".

I do know you are in Miami. I grew up in Miami Lakes, when Hialeah wasn't a bad word.

So today I did the primer for the deck and gunnels but forgot to take pictures.

Am going to go with some type of outdoor rug for the inside of the hull to coverup the prior rug and glue that was there. I would spend a long time to sand and get it nice.

Either way it’s a flats boat that I want to fish and let my 15 year old nephew learn on before he uses the Seacraft.

Signature Finish was a good product. Gotta put it on thin!!!! Unfortunately, I spoke with Sandy recently and she has shut the business and not taking any more orders. I had to look to Alexseal to finish my Lil Mako project. The rep said it would be compatible. Hope so.

So today I painted the insides the parts not painted will have some black outdoor carpet the one with short nap. I went and painted just one side to how it would look but I think the black rug will add some color and break up the all white look. I hope to have the rug in this weekend and add some gelcoat in the 2 wells in the back. Then comes the rigging.

I was able to locate a nice used lower unit for the Yamaha 30 and it's painted and ready for a new impeller and oil and then attach it to the mid section.

Trust me when I tell you black anything in a boat in Florida do not go together.
Take a small sample lay it in the boat in the sun then try to sit or stand on it after 1 hour !!! Safe bet you change your mind. Otherwise looking good.

I hear you on the sun baking anything in Florida. The carpet if it's black, there are other colors, will be only on the sides of the inside hull. Going to make a run at home depot and lowe's to see that they have.
