Ken-Thanks for sharing what you went through....I think a lot about the kids who perished in their 18SC out the Jupiter inlet. That was my entire families stomping grounds. We were not in a SC back then.....I went through a tropical storm as a 4 yr old leaving West End in a 24 ft Morgan sailboat. That was an ugly experience. Stories save lives. We need a a Fall gathering on the West Coast. Let’s do this!!

Right now means dealing with the endless masses and stupidity of the scallop fleet. My tolerance for crowded ramps, no parking and people not qualified to operate a truck inner tube are flying a 35' go fasts. It's no place I want to relax. Right now in the middle of red snapper insanity you have to be at the ramp at 4 am and that doesn't even guarantee you a parking spot.

For the next 2.5 to 3 months Homersassa is going to be the epicenter of dumbass.

Have you heard the latest? They discovered a bunch of KKK hoods by the water cooler in his garage!!

After a lengthy investigation, it turns out it was just the white paper cone cups

Moose, your post reminded me of the day I bought my 23. March 1993, the no name storm that pounded the upper west coast and big bend, but it caused a big wind event on the east coast too. The boat came with no trailer and even though I was in the intracoastal
the whole time, it was a long , 40 plus mile shakedown cruise from the Hobe sound area.

We have always had a great time there.

Stay away from new shiny boats and jet ski riders.

Ken, bring Mel and the 23 to Hernando Beach. Launch Friday and haul out Monday. The new dock is now 20’ and empty. I’m here until I sell the Seafari.
