Finlaw, I don’t know how you are maintaining your cool here.
All I can say is “Wow?” reading this tread.

How in the world can you or anyone else sell anything on this board when the world is jumping in pulling you advertisement and boat apart? Shouldn’t discussions related to the value of an item be between the seller and buyer only? There needs to be some way to keep all these so called experts off the board and let sellers and real buyers discuss and negotiate without being overwhelmed with BS.

Nice first post and introduction....
Also your Bio is lacking email, name, what boat you own
(If you even own a boat)....
Nice Try!!!

Welcome to CSC, I think you just purchased some reels from me on THT? please keep in mind this is NOT THT this is a very niche site with a small group of members who try to help one another, not bash one another. Please introduce yourself, and let us know your interest in SeaCrafts, we don;t bite, aside from Spidercrab.

I guess you did not read the post mid way down the first page where he welcomed advice?

this is what he wrote:

"TRAYDER,
Thank you for posting the photos which have drawn a number of compliments. I've had 1633 viewers but nobody has called to look at the boat! Times are tough but quality still moves. Any advice?
Thanks.
Jack Finnerty "

Hard to believe if you are NOT a seacraft guy, but I do actually want this guy to get his $20K.

Obviously I would prefer that he keep the boat, close transom, etc. but if he is going to sell it, I hope he gets his price as that will only do good things for my 23, were I ever forced (by my angry wife) to sell it.

On another thread, a seacraft got sold for $1, because someone claimed that they had never seen a seacraft "given away", and the buyer/seller graciously decided to keep it that way.
