165 to 192 are premo......

You can tie up to the bumper of your rig!

It is a good all around campground..

A little tricky from the "best boat ramp in the state" to the sites..

One time and you are home free..

The north part of the "T" on the east side is all pretty good but a little shallow up next to the seawall and some oysters at low tide up near the very north end. Anywhere between the two bathrooms is good. There is actually a access path to the seawall and you can tie your boat up at the seawall and use the drive through sites in the center of the campground. You just wouldn't have your boat right outside your window, but if we tie a few sites up along the seawall we can secure Seacraft Marina / AKA Port Carla. If it is Ft. Desoto on October 24 for the 2014 Fall Gathering, I can get my brother, brother-in-law and a couple of friends here is Pinellas County to grab some spots for enough of us to create a marina. Just let me know what the consensus is for the West Coast Gathering and I'm on it "like a duck on a June Bug". Maybe we can do Boca Grande next Spring, if the Gold Coasters will drag their rigs across SR 78. (They got drive thru tamales in Imokalee, Sandy!) \

YOU GUYS LET ME KNOW ABOUT FT. DESOTO - and I'll try to tie somethin' UP.

Rusty - the dock is at 26-37-52 / 82-13-39. Go to my member profile and look at the Cayo Costa Album. (don't look at the fact that I have no friends) There are waypoints on the first picture of the boats at the dock that will "walk you in".
Conner eased the Safari right in there and he has one of those deals where there are two props on the same shaft turning different directions with a dang 350 Police motor twist'in 'em!

Sandy - I'm one my third glass of wine and I still can't figure out the significance of those pictures of the squirrel eating out of the spoon and pig laying on the floor. Can I get a translation?

Ken - It's both Red and White - "Studder Home" White Merlot
I put it in an Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice jug when I run offshore and tell the FWC officer at the pass, when he wants to snoop around and check everything out, "I hate that dang cranberry juice, but my Doctor makes me drink it". They just look at me and say "I know, those Doctors are a pain in the ass, have a good day." Some days I feel like a Rumrunner!

You think as we all do. Sandy is crazy. That is given. I research all of my friends and thoughts.

Another thread to make folks jealous.

Cheers,
GFS

No, No, No, Mon Frere, That was not my thought by any means. However, sometimes I'm not sure if it is a satellite "data burst", I'm on the wrong frequency modulation, or is I just need a Navajo Code Talker to break it down for me. We'er all good here and I'll score a Ovaltine Decode ring the end of this month and better off than if I had a German Enigma Machine swiped off a Nazi sub.
Roll on Brother, I'll try to keep up.
