Awesome that's what I was thinking but wasn't sure. Ill start with that. It looks like this issue came up a while ago and the previous owner just disconnected power to those gauges and dealt with it

Strick,

I've adopted a bit of a different method, but similar that works for a single man anchor setting. At some point in my future some sort of windless setup will happen.

Also a couple a pictures from wildman after tuna wishing turning into striper fishing.

Would like to hear how it rides through typical 2' - 4' ocean chop...

How does it ride " bow heavy " ? On plane is the bow lower than the back ?

Also, are you getting faster top end yet. I'd figure 45-50 mph.

It's been in some gnarly chop it handles it well. I'm a little more Cowboy then most of my friends will let me run it in that kind of swell/chop. I usually get screams from the girls to slow down.

In a light load at no wake speeds the bow sits low in the water. Pending the trip and what not I've found ways to compensate for that. I actually like it this way. It's like an old Ford 3/4 ton with some add a leafs allows you to hold some more weight. On a tuna trip, I'll load my big cooler with ice and bait. That's usually enough weight to sink the stern and ride right. If I'm riding light with passengers I'll fill the bait well with water and tweak the trim on the motor.

Now one of the problems myself and Wildman have figured out this summer is the motor is mounted too high. So on the list of things to adjust this winter is to lift the motor. The only way to get the boat just right when she's light is trim the motor to almost cavitating the prop. And she runs like a rape date. When its rough it causes a bit of a problem of porposing. But I have trim tabs, so I'll put them down and it fixes it.

On a flat day I've hit 48 still missing the 400 RPM's on the top end. Once I get the motor sitting right, pending what I have I'll consider adjusting props. If it stays the same I'll leave it alone. It's a 23 ft deep V Seacraft not a bass boat, I rarely run in the top end.

I'm looking for some input on some glass repairs.

In my below deck bait well, someone at one point I assume put the anchor because it leaks. I have to re-core all my deck hatches and want to address this issue as well.

Thanks to help from Wildman on my 20 ft CC I was taught how to re-core the hatches. I'm looking for feedback on how to re-glass and seal up on the cracked glass
