Default Fuel tanks in south FL

I am replacing the floor in my 20 classic and plan on replacing the tank now that the floor is up. Does anybody know of a place in South Florida? Turn around time? Cost?

I had CL Mattson & CO in Tampa make the tank. It was about 8-9 dollars a gallon and about 1 -1.5 weeks turn around.

Thanks. I was figuring around $6/gal.

George, I see that you also have a 20'. What size tank did you put in yours? If that was the boat you replaced it in.

I think I used these guys on my 120 gal tank 3 yrs ago I would have to check for sure they were the cheapest and make me a good tank. a 120 gal cost $600 = $5.00 per gal. http://yellowpages.superpages.com/pr...LID=0100576037

I used Nautic for my 116 stainless tank and it is very nice. I think I paid $850. My 20 has a 50 gal. and it seems small to me. I did not replace it since it didn't leak and I don't know how much bigger I could have made it even with the live well out. Make sure that the height of the fill and vent tubes is accurate cuz I did not specify and the new tank was higher so the floor had to be modified!

when replacing the tank in my '71 20', a new 75 gallon tank was put in under the floor. Likely overkill considering the 4-stroke on the back but there was space for it and I don't have to run it full

Yeah with the floor up, I realize there is plenty of room. The tank in there now is 82"x23"x7", which equates to approx. 60 gallons. I might go with a little longer tank to add another 5 to 10 gallons.

I contacted AAA manufacturers and the cost was $350 for the same identical tank. Not bad, approx. $6/gallon.

Houdini,
I have'nt replaced my tank yet, because I have been away at school for the past few months but I was planing on replacing the tank with the same size as is in there. It appears to be small around 40-50 gallons
