Default Bennett Add Campaign

I was contacted by Fair Hyams of Bennett Trim Tabs after sending a few pictures of my boat. They are going to do ½ page advertising showing my 1976 23’ CC SeaCraft and a picture of myself in several boating and fishing magazines. I had the photo crew come to my office a few days ago taking pictures. My trim tabs were installed on this boat back in 1977 and they are about the only thing I didn’t replace when I re did my boat in 2001. Fair told me that if anything brakes on the tabs that they would send me what ever I needed, but I told him that the tabs have been on there since 1977 and probably would last another 28 years before they would go bad. Well guess what, I received a little thank you gift of their tab positional indicator and a new toggle switch in the mail. My old toggle switch still works great but the sun has faded it out some so he sent me a new one plus the positional indicator which looks like a pretty cool device to let you know exactly how high or low you tabs are. Sometimes I can’t tell if I should go up on the one or go down on the other this takes that guesswork out. My guess the adds should show up in magazines in a month or two.

Ken that is great. Maybe FS will do a "One Mans Dream Boat"
feature of your Classic SeaCraft. I have had the Bennetts on
my 1970 20SF for 30 trouble free years as well. If guys would install the pump assembly in a dry area, they will last forever I believe.
See ya, Ken

Actually a had Florida Sportsman set up to do the one man dream boat article on my boat about 3 years ago. I set up a time to meet the writer at the dock and everything. I was going to take him out Sail Fishing out of Miami. Well two days before the trip someone at the office died and the funeral was for the day of out trip. Tried to reschedule but never happened. Well one of the magazines that this add is coming out in will be the Florida Sportsman mag. I think I will contact my man again after the Bennett add hits and see if he would be interested again.

As for posting pictures maybe Capt. Chuck will post one I never figured out how but I did gave Chuck a CD with a bunch of them.

Thats cool! I had a write up a few years ago to send in that they were going to put in the dream boat section, never finished it. Hey,maybe we can get them to report on Classicseacraft.com and post a bunch of pics of the changes we have all made. Just imagine how valuable they'll be then.
