Default Classic Seacraft Coffee Table Book

New idea. A coffee table book derived from our collection of boats. Currently this is a rough idea, in order for this to happen I need two things. High-resolution images of your boat along with a write up of your boat ie… how did you acquire the boat? any history you may have? what has
been done to your boat? Something along these lines. Editing will happen to images and text.

If you would like to submit a few pictures and a write up that would start the process rolling. I say a few pictures just incase one is better than another in print.

Overall, its up to the site to make this happen. I will make a book if I get enough submissions. We would need at the bare minimum 80 submissions. Up to you guys. I will leave this here for one month, after that we will
see if this can happen.

Trayder,

Should we reply directly to you or here in this thread? It would be great if the book had a forward by Bill Potter or Carl Mosely or some old pix from the factory. Also a timeline of ownership and some of the origonal patents and spec sheets you have on the site. I am going to bet if we pull this off it would be the first of its kind done exclusivly by its owners.

Please reply here in regard to thoughts etc. but please send pictures and text to me via email.

Brian you have hit the nail on the head, and I really like your idea with a forward by the original owners of seacraft.

I don't think the resolution on the pictures I have is adequate. What resolution is ok? I don't have any completed pictures anymore and I don't think a shot of the boat on the side of the house is going to make the book! Could this wait until spring?-PF

Trayder, you are on to something with this idea. That is definitely a book that would live on my coffee table. Getting well taken, high res pics will be the challenge but I will try to do my part this spring. Unfortunetely I don't know any of the history of my boat. I think this thread might end up being bigger than the one about seacraft decals. Let's keep the ideas flowing!

This is not going to happen overnight. We are, as Jim stated, free flowing ideas. I want every one to keep the book idea in the back of their heads throughout this year and if you find the right opportunity for a great shot, get it. As for res. size the bigger the better. Do not worry about the shots you ahve already taken on the restore,we will figure something out
