Default new windshield picked up today 4-13

The original windshield on the 1970 seacraft bowrider was pretty hard to see out of so I had a new one made at norva plastics. The new windshield is 5 inches taller than the old one and is frameless. Had it made out of 1/2" thick clear acrylic. Thought about having a tinted one but that cut down on night visibility. Turned out pretty good but I have to take the boat to them next week so they can measure and cut the center walkthrough part. Cost for the materials and having them cut it to size and heat bent the corners was $840

Looks pretty sweet Jason ! 1/2" thick should be pretty solid.I agree on the clear- mine is/was tinted and its impossible to see thru running at night. That new classic seacraft bling looks good too!

Gigolot, Looking good. On our bowrider, the frame was right in line with the eyesight ... so I agree, something has to move up or down.
What color did you decide to paint?
The "SeaCraft" on the side looks exceptionally good!!!!

I am still thinking on the topside color. I think I may get another quart of white and mix the light blue in it so its a really light blue/white. But on another note, I have the original I/O engine box sitting in my backyard if someone is in need of an engine box for a I/O 4cylinder for a seacraft.

Got the center piece installed today before the rain came in on us.Got a little bit of trimming to do to the center piece but its realy close right now. On my way back from the glass place I went by budget boats in chesapeake and picked up a 17 deg prop for $85 since the 13 was way not enough. Also picked up a brand new bow cleat at a bargain price of $75
