Default 1982 23' SeaCraft Sceptre

Well departing with the Seacraft. Loved the boat but really wanted a center console.

2001 – Transom redone, New Allcraft 2000 fighting lady yellow paint on outer hull, new rub rail, new vents, SeaCraft emblem and custom tripes.
2004- New custom made A&J Marine bracket and Sea Star Hydraulic steering. The bulk head that the steering helm mounts to was also recored.
2003- The Aluminum Loadmaster trailer was rebuilt using stainless U-bolts and bolts. The springs, tires, equalizer bar and hardware were also replaced.

The engine is a 1997 Yahama 200 bought new in 1998. Electronics include a Garmine 162 GPS, a Garmin 240 Blue fish finder and Apelco VHF radio.
$16000 OBO

Kind of surprising no one is interested in a Sceptre here in the south. Is there not enough information on the boat or what might be the problem?

It is a buyer's market. With 9 to 10 yr old power even though you have more than 16K into the boat, the market is less $. The OBO isn't getting a response because your price starts too high. Keep it if you don't have to sell. Lower it if you have to sell.............

What would you put for a price tag on this boat? I have 79 Sceptre with brand new deck that has never been walked on and new transom. The motor is a 98 Suzuki EFI, with aluminum trailer. I have it for 14k OBO is that too high?

Seeing Entourage's Sceptre he is closer to the price point for today's market. JohnB has nailed it down pretty well on a Sceptre value. Due to popularity, the SF sells higher than the Sceptre(this was opposite when the boats sold new). I'm sure glad we haven't dropped like those few year old, high end CC's. Those guys are losing way more than us...........
