Whales !!!

My GF and I took the Seafari out to Stellwagen Bank last weekend, to do some fishing, which turned out to be pretty mediocre. We launched in Sandwich, and had a beautiful cruise up to Race Point, where we picked up a few fish, then decided it was too beautiful a day not to go out to the bank, so we headed out. Not very many people out there, not at all like last year. Towed everything in the arsenal around the SWC for awhile, then saw a couple boats clustered together off in the distance, so decided to pull up lines and head over.

Came across, and joined a couple other small boats enjoying the most amzing whale show I have ever seen - there were at least 6 humpbacks just playing, staying in close, sticking their heads out looking at us, rolling, tail flapping, fin waving, the whole show -











You just have to love a day like that !!!
