Default 1987 seacraft 23 225 yamaha

Hi,

I am looking at purchasing a 1987 seacraft 23 cc with a 1996 yamaha saltwater series that has a 3 year old powerhead. I am wondering if you guys think this is a good deal. I went on a seatrial and it rode great, the only problem is that it has some heavy hull oxidation on its black hull. Do you guys think $14,000 is a good price for it? It comes with the trailer which is in o.k condition.

Unless the boat has been redone, floor, transom, wiring, etc. It seems like to much $$, the engine might be worth $1000, so would you pay $13000 for the boat?

Depending on how that stuff is done, just remember, you are buying a 22 year old boat, with a 10 year old engine, whose power head was redone by whom? So things might go south, wiring, plumbing etc. Sounds like the person is trying to get the $$$ out he put into it. Everything better be right nice. Personally, I still think it is high. Just my .02
