Hard to tear apart a perfectly fine boat...

First post old thread..... I'm bumping this because I had a 76' 20SF and it had the little side vent next to the word SeaCraft. I am going to go look at a 1971 SF I plan on buying but it doesn't have the side vent. I am assuming this is original or is it something someone eliminated ?

Vents showed up in 74 I think.
