I currently have a SC 23 Center Console with 300 Suzuki Power. The boat runs great and I am thinking of selling it and maybe moving up to a 32 SC. Has anyone here had an opportunity to own or use one or have any opinions. They were usually rigged with Merc power and it is a bit tougher to find one with either a Yamaha or Suzuki. General thoughts would be appreciated and I know I will be giving up 3 mpg with my current SC. Thanks Jason

The 20' and 18' are wet too. I'd love to get a 32. Great looks, engines on transom, flat floor, modern construction. How much would it cost to add really nice custom spray rails? The 32' with an engine cowl and spray rails is a dream boat, much nicer than the old 27' cc.

The SC 32s have a nick name on the tournament circuits... They call them "Super Soakers". If I was going to dump that much cash on a 32 CC I would pic from the plethora of superior hulls in this class. I agree with Ken, the SC 32 is an abortion created to fill a hole in the market. They took a great hull design, loaded it into a CAD machine and programed a straight stretching without considering the hydrodynamic limitations of the original design.

I have a neighbor that had one with twin Verado's and hated it, was so happy when someone stole the boat and the insurance took care of it. And guess what he is driving now...a 23 Open Fish

i am collecting info on a newish builder Billfish boatworks .... they are currently working on a 27... which is close to my max length i am interested in .... they also build a 35 ... the lines are similar to the conch and yellowfin

The "Spanish Fly" had one at that time and switched to the SeaVee after giving saltwater baths to his customers & camera Crew

If you need a bigger hull with twins get a 27' Conch and they will call you Rocket Man vs Wet Skivees

Thanks for the comments, that is kind of what I heard in the past about the 32 being a wet boat. Being a SC fan I thought I would stay with the brand but I don't like getting wet when fishing. My 23 is surprisingly dry and I really enjoy the performance as well, although I must admit I don't fish in nasty conditions like I did when I was younger. 27 is a good alternative and will check out the Conch 27.

Billfish just posted the Video of their 27 on youtube this morning ... i was FB chatting with them this morning when he posted it and had to check it out ... i really like the thought that was put into the layout ... It is built to fish first ... then do other stuff ...
