I love it when its like this. This year we have had a lot of wind on the west coast. I am longing for a greasy day like that.

I've seen many mornings like that off Palm Beach, from mid June through early September. I used to cross to Jack Tar/West End in just 2 hours on days like that to go diving. I've even done that in a 13' Whaler.

Of course, once the afternoon wind got up, the return trip was a bit longer...
