Fuel Management System

What do you guys with more mature outboards use for your fuel management systems? My old Navman just took a dump.

Oh NO!!! Say it ain't so!

I think mine is the F210 Northstar unit which has been fantastic. They sold for like $125 and for some reason they quit making them....why? I don't know, maybe they were too good for the money. They are now impossible to find and if you do they are WAY north of the original price because everyone knows their value. If I had known they had quit making them I would have bought two or three more for spares!!!! I'll keep up with this question because I'm also interested in the results!!

Garmin sells an in-line sending unit that is compatible with their MFDs with nema 2000. You can find them for about $150 new.

Thanks for the input. I was surprised to see that Floscan closed up in February but for what they were going for I could almost buy a new Garmin with the fuel meter.

Lowrance makes a fairly inexpensive version called the LMF-200. I had one of each of the boats in my boat club. They worked very well. (One time... some sediment got stuck in the sensor and I just had to blow it out)

What Moose said. I have a pair of the Garmin GFS-10’s on my twin I/O boat, they work pretty well.

I've been using a standard horizon for the last ,at least, fifteen years and it was doing fine until recently after I replaced fuel lines.

Thanks for the info on Floscan I didn't know they closed up, thank fully mine is still working very well.Hope I can get another five years or so out of it.
