Default Filling in vent holes

I have a 23 with outboards. I want to fill in the vents on the hull sides. Is this going to cause any problems, with possible gas fumes, or any other problems.

If you pop the circular shaped hatches on the inside of the transom, I believe that you answer your own question. Just look for the vent hoses.

I didn’t care for them either so I filled in my 4 vents but added one under the CC in the deck.
