Default Nav Lights

The bow lights on my Tsunami are the wrong type. They're supposed to be mounted on the hull side and are mounted on the topside so the illuminated arc points to the sky instead of to the sides. Since I need to replace them, I'd like to switch to LED but don't think the look of the innovative lighting lamps would match my 73 Tsunami. Any one have any suggestions for an LED fixture with a more traditional look?

You could find a traditional light that you like and then retrofit it with LED bulbs.

I got this link from Warthog. It seems you can retrofit almost anything to LED with those guys.

I changed my navlights to these, I don't know if they will fit your application but I like them better than the Perko's that were there. The good thing is they are relativley inexpensive. I have not got the LED upgrade yet.

This is more or less what I have

I'd love to get something similar with the LED. That link looks like the perfect solution assuming they'll fit in the fixture and are bright enough. You'd just get the white LEDS thought right. I would think putting the red & green behind red and green tinted lenses would be dim. I wonder if they'd be bright enough to be legal.

Yes just get the White one's. If I remember right they make a Red, but no Green in that style.

Hmmmm! They do make a Green now.

I used the 1142-W19 White LED bulb [narrow bulb]

I have the LED's in my boat. They are pretty bright.

I just ordered the fixtures. I probably won't bother going with the LED bulbs at this point. I still don't have a proper stern light so won't be running much at night this season. It'll be on the list for this winter though.
