Default Using Seacast transom repair

Has anyone used Seacast to repair thier transom and added a Armstrong bracket? What I really want to know is does it hold up and give enough strength to support the bracket? I've been all thru thier website and and it seems to be a good product. I will be adding knee braces and raising transom.

Look down three lines in the same discussion and you will find the same question being answered. You can also look for more info by doing a search. Will save you a lot of time.

Yeah I saw it after I posted. Even reading it I'm still not sure it's as good as the old plywood tried and true method.
