Default T Top

Hey guys- I have a 2000 sc21 with a canvas t-top. While my canvas is still in decent shape, I am considering having a hard top fabricated when it's time to replace it. I've heard the issues about the hard top weight making the boat rock more, but has anyone actually converted so they could tell me their experiences with this? Also, have no idea of what the hard top may cost- estimates? Thanks

My hard top on my old 23 weighed about 83 pounds if I remember right and I don't think there was much difference in handling when I went from no hard top to hard top except for the top acting like a sail which you have already experienced with your soft top. You are going to spend anywhere from 1000 to 3000 for a decent manufactured hard top. You can make one for about 400-500 max and they are easy to make. I used core cell in mine which helped reduce the weight.
