Thanks guys, thats what I wanted to here, I think Ill hold off on cutting the seafari up and look for a CC. I really want a CC because it suits My style of fishing more than the cabin model, I did find a CC in a storage place here in N ga, I left a card on it to see if it might be for sale. Its a 74 with a old Johnson V4 on the back,

This is my boat. Its a 76 model MC with a 84 model 185 Johnson. great picture...

As always, Denny makes good points. Bushwacker`s boat wins the CG award at all the gatherings. No substitute for knowledge and experience.

I`ll add a few thoughts about this and my `89 cc.

The weight and structure add to ride and feel. The 4 blade prop, dolefin, tabs, and Hermco bracket make it all work in harmony on Denny`s boat. I feel these boats like weight, but in the right places. That can be a fine dance.

I`ve always used the forward fish box as dry storage, but I find myself questioning this. The CG on these hulls is designed to be midpoint of the fuel tank.

My above deck livewell is under my leaning post {well behind the CG} and when full of prisoners, she really squats down nicely. What would happen if I could move more weight forward?

Good things, me thinks,
Keep thinking,
GFS
