baitwell question

im just gettiun gmy seacraft running and one thing i want to do is somthing for bait i dont like the floor tank and dint think ill set t that ine back up but i was thinking of plumving a well under the leanig post but then though if i pumb s drain under the floor to the transome wouldnt draining be a problewm with the hose being so low possibly at or below waterlevel? and if possible would the original bait tank transom ethuhull be suffent in size? just lookign for input from somone who has made this addition already
