Default Transom Angle Question

I am enclosing the transom on my 23' Sceptre. The transom has a 14 degree angle and I am trying to work out how to handle this on the bulkhead inside of the boat. I don't really know that I would gain much by having the bulkhead at 14 degrees. In other words, the angle of the bulkhead inside of the boat be parallel to the transom angle. Alternatively, if I make the inside bulkhead verticle (0 degrees), it will cause the top cap of the transom to be pretty wide - maybe as much as 20" or more.

What have others done with this decision? I told the boatyard to make it verticle so I will have the large top cap on the transom.

Vertical!! Bring the floor back some, towards the transom, and the top will not be as thick
