Default how much paint do I need?

I've decided to paint my 1989 20 sf. I want to paint the inside awlgrip cloud white and nonskid ice blue. I also want to paint the outside ice blue with a cloud white bottom. How many gallons or quarts do I need? I know I need topside ice blue and cloud white paint, h3002 converter, primer, primer converter and t0031 reducer. I am going ro roll and tip. How much do I need to buy of each? Also is 2-3 coats the standard?

I can't help with most of it but I just painted the hull of my 20 from the waterline up with interlux perfection with 3 coats and used 2 quart kits.

You won't use it all. But I'd buy a gallon of the white and a gallon of ice blue. If you are going to drop $1000+ on paint . . . don't roll and tip.

I agree with Mr shrimp..if your gonna do it,do it Right, good paint goes fast,if you want to roll and tip,it will still take some extra work to make it look right. be prepared.do not undercut, and save some paint for repairs...just sayin....

If you are going to roll and tip use AwlCraft or something that can be cut and buffed.

We are giving a deal to forum members for the EMC two part paint. Its an acrylic urethane (repairable buff-able) Roll and tip or spray.

here is the post I made about it...
