Hull angle for transducer
I know this site is mostly for potter hull seacrafts but would anyone know the hull angle on a 2000 32 seacraft?

Which panel; keel side, mid panel or outer most? VDR means each are different.

I installed the Airmar tilted element in mine and it's all good. If I remember it's 18 or 20 degrees.

I think Airmar only makes a 12 and a 20 degree tilted transducer. Buy the 20, that's is as close as you will get without a wet well.

Rjp44,
Check this out. It may solve your problems. http://www.airmartechnology.com/uplo.../17-217-01.pdf I also seem to remember that the DR for a 23' Scepter is 22' at the keel panel, going to 17 mid and then 11 at the outer most. The transducer above may not be the only one with the variable angle feature. Check around. Also, remember that a boat seldom sits perfectly level in the water. I would bet the best soundings are +/- 3-5%, and probably are more repeatable than actually accurate.

The 20 works fine. I have a 20 degree 264n in mine and it is fantastic.
