I'm closing in on it. It seems it's not a production boat but that 12 or so were made ( at least my source says ). I think I found out where the boat is docked and am waiting to get there to check for a make or leave the owner a note.

As an aside, during my online search, I found a really cool blog of a guy who built a kitty hawk 18 -- http://www.buildaboatwithben.com

Lots of work but nice results…

WATER RAT - I think that is it ! I think the one I saw is a 26… I'll post when I find out.

If it was a Hunt it would look more "bath tubby" up front with a bunch of Vee under the chine like a Bertram 25, a 26 Grady White or a Gladding-Hearn Pilot Boat. I think it's some kinda' North Carolina modified New England Lobster Boat like a North Coast.
Where the heck is Bill Potter when you need him?

I'm also with Senor Raton on it being a Pilot; Notice how the chine crosses the bootstripe forward in abl's pic - it does the same and at the same location on the Pilot thread on THT. Same distinctive shape on windshield too. The biggest diff I see is in the missing portholes but most Seacrafts on this site have been modified far more than that.
