Default Crack in Cap - 23SF

I have this crack in the cap of my 23sf, under the aft end of the inset railing. The glass has started lifting away. The other side of the boat is showing signs of a similar issue, but it's much less severe.

Is this area cored? I guess I'm just wondering how big of a fix this is going to be? Looks like the previous owner tried something with Marinetex, but that failed.

Was cracked open like that when I bought the boat a couple years ago, so I'm not sure. It's gotten worse as water just sits in there and freezes over the winter.

On my 23 (83), the cap narrows in that area. There appears to be a narrow, probably wood, core on the inside edge. I have a rod holder to the rear of that area that goes through that thick area. The area where your crack is, appears to be all glass and is quite thick. I would check on the underside and see if it is cracked there as well.
