Default Canvas replacement

Gents - time to replace the canvas on the tee top. Anyone ever use a plastic sheet such as Starboard? My top is flat and only curves down in the front so I would think plastic would conform to the bend. Thoughts/suggestions?

You might consider PVC board. Can be heated to allow bending and probably cheaper than starboard.
