I think I might have a fill hose leak?
2002 21 CC. Just bought this boat about 3 weeks ago. I bought it with about a 1/2 tank. Today I put 20 gals. in with Valve Tec. Launched the boat and ran it for about an hour. There is defiantly fuel in the bilge. So I assume the fill hose has a leak. I can't understand why SeaCraft ran the fill so far FWD. Anyway what is involved checking the hose and or replacing it. Thanks,Dave

Defiant fuel can ruin your whole day.

That's comforting. I'm thinking it might be the hose. Only because if it was the tank I would think it would be still leaking in the bilge. Wishful thinking!! I'm going to pull the fill neck flange to see if I can see anything.

I'll make no assumptions, and will hope it's just a hose -- but do re-read and assess Don V's post (the bad news part).

The hole in the deck under the console where the riggin` goes to the engine.
Try and remove the fill fitting screws. Do all but one come out? If so one on the screws is a machine screw with a nut on the backside. |

That's what I plan to do next. Probably this afternoon when it stops raining. Why would they nut and bolt it. Really! Thanks for the heads up.

Green ground wire to tank from fill.
