Default Hermco splashwell mold

As many of you know, I was able, with assistance of another member, to acquire Don’s original mold about a year and a half ago. I have assisted in building nine Jersey Speed Skiffs from a mold that was 75% the condition of this mold. It is as new. When I offered to pop one for another member, my two sources estimated $500. When able to speak with Don, he laughed, and said he did it as a favor with fiberglass scraps and usually for about $200! It is now stored in climate control, but will lose that spot come spring. I’m wondering which member would most benefit from this and be willing to produce a few more if requested. What do you all think? Going to attach a photo of the mold, and a photo of finished product.

Thanks in advance.

Vezo

Really Good Stuff. Could you possibly post a pic of the improvement? Thanks.

Michael.

Nice boat! That light blue is very pretty! I would go with a lighter blue like that if mine were ever to get painted (or light grey).

Mine's pretty much covered for the season (NY), but found some on my phone, old and new...

Thank you strick!

I always thought that splash well was factory... I guess dealer installed?
The back has a blue indoor/outdoor carpeting affixed that I believe the previous owner put there 40 years ago. You can kinda see it in the pics. I always thought it could be improved aesthetically, but short of smooth gelcoat on the back side, I'm not sure how else I'd want it...
