Just venting ....
I know there has been some previous posts on removing or keeping the side vents.
I decided to keep them, but tried to replace the plastic style vents with SS flush style vents. Problem, the Attwood (#1499, 3"x17") SS vents have only a 1/2" flange. The old plastic ones have a larger flange (3/4" or more?) Does anyone know of another SS flush vents that are slightly larger to fit? Thanks Nick |

Re: Just venting ....
The only thing I know to do is to build up the hole from the inside with fiberglass and then gel coat that will make the opening a little smaller for you to screw in the stainless vents into the smaller opening.
