Just got an inside tip the offshore action off Sebastian has been ramping up to epic and looks like it should be peaking late enough to land smack dab on the gathering. They're still catching lots of sails and kings as well. I'm oiling up all the clickers on my reels as I'm ready to hear em scream in the stream!

Gosh Moose, that would be too bad!!! A few nice dolphin filets would be nice! I guess I'm going to have to break out the outriggers from the garage.

It's going to be quite a sight seeing a line SeaCrafts charging out the inlet!

Looks like I'm going to miss this epic gathering, eventhough it's in my backyard. I'll be somewhere in the southern Bahamas next weekend.

Have a great time, and I wish you good weather. For those of you going out for dolphin, 120'-180' of depth usually is productive. Listen on VHF 68 for reports.

Be safe, and have fun!

Lloyd

Lloyd
That stinks!
Well I guess there are worse places to be "hung up" than Andros and Cay Sal.

Lloyd, did you hear the scuttlebutt about "Cuber"? The guys I know that deliver yachts to the Caymans and Roatan tell me "Nothing is a problem" . Good clean fuel and cheaper than it is here. What you know "El Capitan"? The Pickle Banks on the south side would be cool to dive.

I was thinking it was dying down from what I have heard, but a buddy of mine told me this morning that from what he heard recently, they were back out there. Maybe this breeze will bring em in, as long as it don't get too breezy.

Well I have bailed on the panhandle trip next Thursday and now plan to head down to Hernando Beach, Fla.. But I have no schedule and am curious if anyone has room for one to split a room. I will not be bringing the MA, but would love to attend. I have a place to stay in Melbourne Beach. Is that just a few miles up the barrier island? Old teacher, brand new home oceanfront. Shit, it looks so close I won't need a room!

Thanks

Come on down brother. There ain't noth'in going on in North Aripeka right now anyway since the Swampfest is over. In Sebastian, you can pick Kmoose's brain about the Nature Coast and save yourself a bunch of running around waist'in gas once you get settled in to your new place in North Aripeka.

That's too funny! I'm coming. Hey, is the Post Office in South Aripeka?

Yep, right over the second bridge on Oswello.

The best thing about Hernando Beach (North Aripeka) is Brian's Place. Mussles, steamed in garbanzo bean soup, served with cuban bread toast. Mango cheese cake for dessert. GFS would be proud!

Kenny and I will both be at Sportsmans Lodge early so we can "tighten you up" with the West Coast, whilst at the East Coast Gathering. Donny will be there too, but he is usually busy entertaining the girls with his bartender prowess.
