I decided to move my progress on the build to 1 thread

Here was the boat after I replaced the deck with nida core, replaced the transom with array and took off the cap took out the wood and replaced with nida core along with recore of gas tank cap.

Days after I took it to a glass shop to finish and paint it with aqua mist awlcraft

With the heat and the rains I was able to get some small but steady progress

Started with putting back the rod holders and bright work each day I was able to get over to the boat.

Installed the trim tabs and today I took out the rub rail and "rehabbed " by taking a rag and some mek that saw on the internet a d they came out pretty good. I'm going to install them tomorrow.

I also cleaned up the trim motor and bilge & livewell pumps and the are ready to go back in.

Plan on painting the gas tank and getting it back in.

Lots to do and pictures to follow.

Itching to hang the engine but need to get some more done 1st

This week I was putting on the rub rail after looking at a few YouTube videos was about 1/4 of the way done when a doubt creeped inside my head. I took what was left and wrapped it around the boat and I WAS SHORT. Took it off creating a bunch of unnecessary holes in my boat. Got it and tied it up to 2 points to get it stretched out overnight

Had so.e time today in between the rain and my favorite brother in law to help and I went and hung the engine. Did nothing but put it on with no rigging.

I need to extend the engine from 20 to 25 inches, thinking of using I think it’s a bay star product

Next is the rub rail

It's starting to look like a boat

its my mother in law's house. they have lived there since the early 70's and my brother in law has 5 Paso Fino's and 1 was was just born a couple of weeks ago.

Plenty of room for another boat...like I need another project???
