PM responded to, got it off ebay. Had them make it narrower then the one shown

HAHA it would be cheaper for me to buy one for you. They are a labor of love when restoring. I figure I sold it for half of what I had into it with my labor.

I was'nt refering to the LEANING POST you had in the boat but rather the BENCH SEAT pictured in post #35 sitting on the deck in your shop.

Hey Billy,

I learned a lot from your thread. I noticed several people including me who used the 2" strips of plywood to make template for the deck.

One thing I do not recall is what you used to bond the deck to the stringers. Would you use liquid nails, thickened epoxy or something else?

Don't mean to hijack this thread but does anyone recognize the helm seat in the mock up picture in post #35 on page 4 of this thread or know who makes it or where it can be purchased ?

Saw one similar on Fabtechmarine.com
They can make any type you would like if you would like if you dont see one.
