Trevor, Yes with the twin 115hp Suzuki's I get about 43-44mph at 5950 rpm's. Now, that is with the motors on the transom and they could go up a bolthole. Now I am putting on a full flotation bracket and "they" claim a performance increase of 5 to 10%. That means I should be able to expect a top end of 46 to 47mph. I don't believe that for a second, however I will let y'all know. I may talk funny but it's 72 degrees in Sarasota today. He He. (I spent 18 summers on Long Beach Island, NJ)

Scott,

Yea, 46 GPS with 50 gal fuel and no gear, 2 guys (slightly overweight). She'll turn 5800 on flat water, downwind, downhill.

Maybe she'll run faster with her current rigging!

Hi Briguy or anyone else,
I plan to put 4 stroke 115 Suzukis on a 23 Sceptre. What kind of gph should I expect to get at various speeds? Realizing weight, conditions, etc. as factors, do you have any comments on your experience? Any other comments both good or not so good would be appreciated.

John R,
If you're referring to Linda's Worry, that boat belongs to Rick Ramos. He had quite a bit of work done to it and she's one sweet boat. Rick's a member of MSBA, so I'll let him know about this site the next time I talk to him.
