SECF, What did your buddy do with the old livewell?? Did he simply seal it up or did he take out the old motorwell and add deck space? As for your leaning post question. I have a leaning post and just screwed it into the deck with 4200 and it's like a rock.

Bri, he cut out the livewell and raised the deck of the motor well,glassed over the access panels, and installed one of those round access hatches to get at the motor mounting bolts,etc.The bulkhead between the well and the cockpit was not modified..
