Default Re: $1000 Seacraft? Is that what this is?

We'll I have contracted the disease and ended up with my second Seacraft. I went and picked the boat up this past weekend and made it back from Atlanta to Charleston with no problem. The trailer, with the exception of one pretty bald tire, is in good shape. The boat is better than I expected. The hull is scratched up a little on the sides but is solid and the deck is suprisingly solid. The transom feels solid but I will know more about that once the I/O is taken out. Even it might be fixable but I am going to take it out. Me and a buddy bought the boat for $200 each and will take our time with the restore. I know it is a classic dual console but I think we may change that to a center console and bracket the boat. We are in no hurry as I am just finishing my other boat. I blame this site for creating a "need" for more Seacrafts...but now I wouldn't want it any other way.

CMB,

It's not like you weren't warned about the multi SeaCraft Theory. Now you have to put a seporate refrigerator just for beer now that you've turned pro.

Best of luck with both projects.

CM.. Welcome to the club. The 19' Bow Rider club that is. Most of these 20 CC boys here think we're whussies cause it's a bow rider not a CC, but to be honest it fishes better then a CC and its more comfortable then a CC. Leave it as a dual console I think you'll be surprised at how much fishing room there is. Plus they look cool as he// rigged out

I agree man, EVERYONE has a CC but there's a only a few of these so you should leave it as is, just put the bracket in and enjoy the comfort!
