there was no mosquitoes but there were these other insects that looked like them but all they did was just hang around. nothing seemed to bother them. they didnt bite or anything.

Yeah, for some reason we had a late bloom of love bugs this year. Probably the unseasonably warm winter. They had just
started showing up about a month ago.
