I've got a great idea. Book a flight to Miami in 2 weeks and see us in the keys! There will be plenty of 23's for you to check out!!!!!!!

EGreen, that looks like a really sweet boat you have there. Honestly I'm looking for something that needs to be restored. I have plans that I want to implement on my next SC project. Yours is a nice boat...no sense in cutting up a perfectly good boat.

Briguy, why don't you guys have a get together in the Keys in February or January, when its really miserable and cold in Long Island. Then I'd jump right on the opportunity. Heck I might just see you guys down south anyway.

Ok, it seems like all my questions have been answered. Basically since I like the way my 20 rides, I should LOVE the way a 23 will ride.

Eggsuckingdog, I can only imagine what a 300 ETEC could do. I have the 150 ETEC on my boat now, and she moves along nicely so I can only imagine what twice the power will do.

Alex.
I'm not local to LI, but South Jersey is not far. I'm in a little town south of Seaside and have a 23 inboard. I'll be wet in a month or so.
If you are ever in the neighborhood.........

Alex,

Likewise, I looked back through your post and that is a nice looking rebuild on your master angler. Good luck with the next one!

Alex,

Another thought if you are not stuck on a CC, change into a 20' Seafari since you don't need the larger space. Stay warm behind the cuddy and you can stuff the nose into the snorty sea's

I love the search function and surfing old threads so I will bump this one for fun.

After getting just a little time on my 23 and having owned a 20…..the 23 seems huge.

I loved my SF 20 and it was a blast to run. It handled extremely well, was very fun to run and nimble too. The lack of fishing (interior) room was probably the main reason for me to go bigger. Now that I have it’s a whole different ball game.

Here is a fun shot of my 23 next the “in laws” 20SF. Much bigger boat for the 3’
