Well if you stay above 30 ft, you won't get bent, but you can blow a lung in less than 10 ft of water. Knew a guy in college who was scuba diving in a pool and thought the air would last longer if he held his breath instead of breathing regularly. Everything was fine until he surfaced from the bottom while holding his breath. He popped a lung and had a big air bubble under the skin by his collar bone. He wasn't certified and I guess nobody had told him about embolism. Ouch!

Now that is a truly terrifying mental picture; the very fast sandman with a pointy projectile weapon.

Yeah Dave, reminds me of the advertisement on TV for the new movie/comedy out about two guys running for office where the doofy guy shoots his opponent in the leg with a cross bow. That's our man Sandy with a spear gun....serious danger!

Sandy,
LC sbs is finery.
But I couldn't be happier with my old Winchester 101s. Over and under...

If you get the scuba bug bad, go see my friend Mitch in Grand Turk (BlueWater Divers) and dive the wall with him. Zen master diver/guitarist. Fantastic crew. Super cool and will let you practice your aim on all the lion fish you see. Apparently they have become an environmental nightmare down there.

Congrats on the Aqualung ticket... oh locomotive breath...

Choo Choo.

Thanks Gillie.

I already got an invite to Grand Cayman. Unca Doug has a place there.

Saw a bunch of lions in the keys. Recent testing has shown ciguatera. Great huh?

We get 4 two tank dives with the course. No guns allowed. Can`t wait to get my bug address book filled.

Cheers,
GFS
