this boat was just the hull so there was no forward compartment/anchor locker and what I call casting platform. so JB built one, cut an anchor locker, didn't like the anchor locker, strengthened it up and glassed it back in, cut the Casting platform to build a new anchor locker/storage compartment and cut out for the front speakers

JB's got the transom just how we want, cut in the access, and speaker holes. Excited is an understatement. I put a deposit down on a 2014 Yamaha LF200XB last week, bought the ignition swich, and Yamaha guge 6 JL speakers, the fushion 600 cd/am/fm/Bluetooth, a garmin 720 touch screen, NEMA 2000, the 704 binnacle, sea star hydraulic steering. so, im broke now, and gotta start building some houses again. on a lighter note we are gonna make it splash before summer.

Pogey Pen Jr is glassed in, CC is glassed in
JB, cut in a large access hole in the CC, we only want on, but want it big enough so I can use both hands under there. This is where we are at now, and JB is out of town, now I can concentrate on this Flip house and spec house I'm building. |

Van,
Looks awesome, eerily familiar of a certain "Coral" colored bote. - If you can figure out how to get the joint from transom to liner cap on the inside from cracking, let me know. - Very nice boat, quality work, all except for that "cheap" white bilage hose I think I see. Good looking job. I couldn't get my hands on left handed engines for months, and you are putting one on here? How come SC has lefties? Wassup with that?? |

Thanks for the attention to detail Ole! My Dad told me a long time ago to respect my elders and pay close attention to them when getting answers to questions. I'm new to all of this and I loved your work on the '72. I have watched JB do his thing and asked questions along the way. I have a tremendous amount of respect for boat builders and fiberglass guys, that is an art and seeing it come together is a very rewarding process. Thanks for the kind wods everyone.
