My take on it:
  • A man with one boat may be able to use it once in a while.
  • A man with two boats may not be able to afford the luxury of paying someone else to work on his boats.
  • A man with three boats will spend more time maintaining them than using them.
  • A man with more than three boats is just pathological.
I have:
  • Three seacrafts (2 working, 1 project)
  • One action craft (mostly working. I need to remove the oil injection from my old Merc 150XR4)
  • One Hewes Bonefisher (upcoming project)
  • An abandoned 17' Seasquirt
  • A home made pirogue
  • And two plastic kayaks
So far, my wife hasn't disowned me...
I'm a lucky man (but a little pathological)
Dave

The Kool Aid works for me...
My fantasy world is:
25' reconfigured with a 540HP LSA under a CC to jackshaft I/O
21 w twin 115s
18 w 90
13' Whaler just because...

My reality is a 23 Sceptre that might get finished in '15

Blue Heron and Frizz are my heroes with their respective stables
