Thanks Strick. I’ll be the first to admit that I followed your restore threads as guidance on this guy. Couldn’t have, or wouldn’t have without this site.

Thank you for the comment. You boat kinda reminds me of my little 20 sceptre. Thats a rare boat you have there. Have you seen any others?

I’ve only seen a picture of I believe Bill Potter’s sons boat that hermco had on his site a while back.
It amazes me how many compliments I get on her, every season. Especially from guys that know boats. The guy that installed and rigged the etec calls it a little Maserati. He likes to put it into a tight turn at full throttle. She maintains stability like no other. He test rides boats for living.
I just smile.

Ok now I remember Potters Sons boat. Thanks for jogging my memory. My little 20 sceptre is such a nice little family boat it has a full enclosure Bimini should we need it and a nice windshield if you want to hear what someone is saying next to you. If you want the wind just stand up and drive. I imagine the Overnighter is the same.

Yes it is the same. I put bean bags up in the cabin and my granddaughters love to hang there when underway. We live in the northeast and it can get chilly on the water. So having the full windscreen is very nice. I had an 18’ cc Parker before this and you just can’t get out of the wind.

Strick, thought I saw you post something about a spectra project, hows that coming along?

So tempted to get a 23, but the 20 does what I need it to, it’s easy to manage and economical to run. Do you ever stop wanting just a little bit bigger?

Getting over biggerboatitas can really happen. My 25 is going to be too big for me in a few years. I'll be looking for somebody who wants to switch a Seafari 20 for mine.
