Got her all cleaned up. Was not too big a deal. Looks pretty good as is, BUT, soft everywhere. I gotta take it apart and do it right.
Console looks like it needs to be reworked. It will be customized. The cap had to come off. Too many holes over the years and got into all the balsa. Came off like mush. That should do it |

any body like teak? it is the beauty of wood.should I redo this boat as it was ,or use modern stuff, and customize it to todays times? I bought it for Resale...need some thoughts on keeping it an I/O or and O/B, or a bracket boat...We have very shallow water in this area so thats why I am asking.it will be for up for grabs, now or later.

Capt. Chuck,
Or Terry could attach it to the front, or rear of the Airstream with hinges and you would have excellent sleeping quarters for GFS. Nice teak platform versus some beat up 'ol pressure treated pine picnic table, what a nice upgrade that would be. |
